Less than 4 weeks to go

Less than 4 weeks to go till MetaMan Ironman. So as most of you know these are the biggest and most important few weeks of the program.

The last few weeks I have comfortable being doing 100+ Kilometres running, just under 500k on the bike and a lazy 20k in the pool.

After meeting with my coach Andrew Ivy today www.elitesportz.com.au  the plan is back the volume off and increase the intensity next week followed by one more big volume week. Then the hard work is done and its time to get mentally and physically ready to race.

There are many rumours about MetaMan being a real tough bike course with 1200+ meters elevation but the organise are saying it’s going to be a fast course. Either way with it being in Asia it’s going to be hot and humid so plenty of suffering to be done in hopefully under 9h of racing.

Just this week I have being lucky enough to sign a contract with 32GI. These guys produce arguably the best nutrition for endurance events www.32gi.com.au
Some of the benefits of using this product

Promotes Fat Burning
32Gi™ Low GI Endurance Energy Drink promotes fat store tapping as a source of energy. 32Gi™ Low GI Endurance Energy Drink is known to oxidise as much as 28% more fat than competing products.

Ensures faster recovery
Due to the sustained energy 32Gi™ Low GI Endurance Energy Drink provides, it has been shown to spare the glycogen stores for a lot longer. Athletes using 32Gi™ Low GI Endurance Energy Drink have demonstrated very quick recovery and good feelings post endurance events.

Zero Spiking
Because 32Gi™ Low GI Endurance Energy Drink contains no sucrose; it does not cause any spiking whatsoever. 32Gi™ Low GI Endurance Energy Drink generates a nice level peak which stabilises energy levels and tapers off over a long period of time.
